West Palm Seashore – On Saturday, 12/31/2022, Lion Nation Safari welcomed a second giraffe calf to its herd, simply days after the primary giraffe start. The most recent child, a 161-pound (73.2kg), 6.1-foot-tall (1.9m) male, is the 18th member of the park’s giraffe herd, one of many largest within the nation. Each calves are spending high quality time bonding with their mothers in adjoining maternity areas and are seen to friends from the highway within the final part of the safari.
